Compatibility Between Ros2 and Raspberry Pi Build HAT

Hello Everyone, I recently came across the following raspberry hat and I would like to know if ros2 is compatible with this type of hardware If someone could tell me if any information about their compatibility I would greatly appreciate it.

This hat has a python library that use for control motors and i know that ros2 has a python library, so i want to if i can be able to use with this software.

Thank you for sharing, looks really cool. I haven’t tried this hat but reviewing the buildhatsource code for motors management for example

I don’t see any issues using it with ROS 2. I couldn’t find much information or tutorials to share using this library with ROS. When I say it can be used, I mean you will need to write your own ROS 2 nodes in Python to start with.

Thanks so much for the info, i have another question, where can i find info about the installation of ros2 in raspberry pi ? and what are the requierements for run ros2 in this device?

If you install Ubuntu 20.04 desktop in Rpi 4, you can then install ROS 2 seamlessly:

For older Rpis is not so straight forward.
