Gazebo Laser View Empty Screen

I'm following gazebo tutorial about velodyne_hdl32. When I try to visualize the sensor data using Ctrl+t, I got the following picture. I'm not sure why this occurs. Notice: the simulation is indeed running. Gazebo 11, Unbuntu 20.

Just zoom in. If as you zoom in you see values appear you're on to something
