I am running the cobol application program and how/where to capture System error/Dump or Abend with required details in specific location. Please provide the details on this.

If you are really referring to cobol here (ie: the programming language), I believe you're posting on the wrong forum. Please try Stack Exchange / Overflow.

running in unix command prompt through unix shell script.

"Abend" is an "abnormal termination". That is not ROS related.
