How can I read the signals from an APM2.5 with GPS on ROS Indigo and Ubuntu 14.04?

Hi,

I have an APM2.5 sensor with a GPS sensor connected. I would like to know how to read the signals of both?

I am new to ROS. Could you please provide me a beginner-level tutorial? Many thanks.
