Has anyone installed Indigo on the rpi 2?
I got my rpi 2 yesterday and was wondering if the guide for installing indigo on the original rpi would work?

Yes, the guide works. Make sure to install all the patches it mentions. It took a day or do to get a fully working installation.
I have ROS indigo working on the Pi 2B, including rviz. I'm still working on installing Gazebo and PCL.
If there is a suitable place to post it, I'm happy to post the complete OS image to save everyone a lot of time.

Hi,
I need somewhere to post it. If you have a DropBox folder you can share with me then I can put it there.
If someone else has a site that can host a various Gb-sized image then let me know.

Hi Simon,
I followed the guide but still failed to install the indigo on my RPI2. Here's my post on stackoverflow. Can you help??
@SimonB [ https://transfer.pcloud.com/ ] has free capability of files upto 5GB you can upload it there and some can make the files permanent by moving it to there own account.
I'm very happy to share the image, but I've got nowhere to upload it to. We're talking 7Gb and my web provider blocked the uploads I tried to do. I can do a Dropbox link as a one-off but I can't publish it. The only other thing I can think of is one of those nefarious flittering sites. Any ideas?
@SimonB If you are using 8GB of memory for your Pi, then you can use dd if=/dev/sd[x] of=backup.img bs=1M
to make an image this about 4GB in size at least in my case and can upload it to the site i mentioned. But if that's not the case(16GB) it's best that we spend a day building it ourselves.

I just received mine and didn't have time to try yet but I would be very interested if you find an easy/convenient way to do it!
