ar_track_alvar very narrow range [closed]

I am trying to use ar_track_alvar on TurtleBot. Using the standard 44 mm marker, the marker can only be recognized in the range between 80 cm and 110 cm from the camera, which is a very narrow range. Is it possible to modify this?
