I want to know where can I get tutorial of Ros for windows? I searched on web for last 2days. Although there is option to install ROS in Windows, I did not find any reliable resources to run a simple program Hello world program.

While it's technically possible, ROS1-on-Windows is difficult, to say the least.

If you're just starting out, I would not recommend using Windows.

Just a follow up question do you recommend Ubuntu on virtual box?

If possible, I would also stay away from Virtual Machines. If you must use one, use VMWare (on Windows, other OS have other options). It's going to be much faster.

The thing is: as a newcomer (ie: someone just starting out), would you rather figure out how to get things to work in a VM, diagnose performance issues, debug 3D graphics problems, etc, or would you rather spend time learning and working with and on ROS?

If the latter: use a supported OS (like Ubuntu).
