no map received for octomap OccupancyMap in Rviz
Hello, I've been able to map an environment using octomap_server and then save it with the command :
$ rosrun octomap_server octomap_saver -f mapfile.bt
To check if the map was usable i launched rviz and then started an octomap_server_node in 2 separate terminal using :
$ rviz
$ rosrun tomap_server octomap_server_node mapfile.bt
I added OccupancyMap in Rviz and a MarkerArray not knowing which should display the map. But none of them show results.
Also I get a warning from OccupancyMap saying :
No map received
What i tried :
- visualising the map i created using octovis and it worked.
Update :
I still did not find a solution, I went for a projected map which suits my problem but i'd still be glad to have the answer to this problem.
