Create my lidar dataset for kitti format with VLP 16

Hello everyone,

I am using PointPillars model in the ros to detect people in real time, and I want to collect my own dataset with Velodyne VLP-16 lidar to KITTI dataset format, include calibration, label, velodyne data. How should I do to achieve the goal? Please give me some advise.

Or is there ant way to detect pedestrian with VLP 16 in real time? I am a newer practicing ROS and deep learning.
