How to make a robot follow a circular wall using LaserScan?

Hi! I am new to the world of ROS, and was wondering how I can make a robot follow a curved wall by using information received from Laser Scan of 270 degrees.

Hi, for instance you can check the lidar data on the wall side of your robot, computing the closest one and applying a PI control on the steering angle of your robot (you have to include the desired offset angle in the control).
