ERROR RESULT_OPERATION_TIMEOUT pi4 ROS noetic with RPLIDAR A1
Good Afternoon,
I am on Raspberry Pi4, UBUNTU FOCAL, ROS Noetic, and trying to run
roslaunch rplidar_ros view_rplidar.launch
and I get the Error below Please advise on how to get past this?

[ERROR] [1591737783.970103291]: Error, operation time out. RESULT_OPERATION_TIMEOUT!
when I check my serial connection via :
ls -l /dev|grep ttyUSB
I got:
crwxrwxrwx 1 root dialout 188, 0 Jun 9 21:34 ttyUSB0
As you can see I also adjusted permissions on ttyUSB0
.
You'll want to contact Slamtec about this. See their issue tracker. It would also seem there is already a similar issue on that tracker: Slamtec/rplidar_ros#5.
