Determine Robocar car orientation from GPS and imu

Hi, I have a robocar which is equipped with RTK GPS and imu. The GPS is pretty accurate with <4cm accuracy. Therefore, I do not need to use any other sensors to correct the location information. However, my imu is not very accuracy so I do not know how to determine the orientation of the car. Without the orientation, I could not drive the car correctly. I have experience trying ROS location_filter_EKF or something, which was very hard to setup and get good results. Since I only need orientation information, is there a easier way to get that?
