Hi,

I am looking for natural navigation for an indoor AGV platform. Its a commercial project so need to know what are my options.

Do we have off the shelf product we can use? Can we use 3D Lidar and using FastSlam 2.0 and we can create our own natural navigation?

Looking for expert comments and guidance so that i can start looking in right direction.

Thanks, Anky

Maybe start with your requirements, what you mean by “natural navigation”, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

Keep in mind this is a community forum, its not our job to help build your commercial product, but we will generally help as far is appropriate with open source and ROS.

I dont know about creating your own navi stacks, but turtlebot3 can be a good benchmark for indoor AGV navigation for either ROS1 and ROS2. Nice documentation can be found in the emanuel robotis. They also have a simulation demo on the navigation side if you want to check.
