ardrone re-takeoff after flight

Hi all, I am using an AR-Drone 2.0 with ROS kinetic and ardrone_autonomy. Everything works fine with an initial takeoff and flight after inserting the battery. The problem is that when I land and then try to takeoff again the drone seems to struggle taking off. The back 2 leds turn red and only the front of the drone tries to lift. I can see in the navdata info that I still have plenty of battery. If I disconnect the battery and reconnect it (without recharging) everything works fine.

Some months ago I posted this thread:
https://answers.ros.org/question/2888...
about calibrating the ar-drone 2.0 between flights.

It was recommended that I send a command to the flattrim service and to the reset topic. Doing this works sometimes (at the time I thought it solved the problem, and blamed any inconsistency on my old batteries) but I have since gotten new batteries and this still happens.

When the drone calibrates when I re-insert the battery it does some moving of the propellers. when I flat trim and reset the drone this does not occur. Thus I am assuming that there is another calibration option that I don't know that is run on startup of the drone, is that the case?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
