ROS remote control with RPI + Propeller Servo Controller USB (28830)?

I am building a small drone ship that I would like to remote control over the internet. For servo control I have a leftover Propeller Servo Controller that takes servo commands over USB. Has anyone written a node to send servo commands to the Parallax Propeller Servo Controller (part no 28830)? I am planning to run ROS on a Raspberry Pi B+ and connect it via one of the USB ports.
