IR Camera ROS package is for Groovy, but I'm on Indigo...How do I build it? [closed]

Hello all!

I am currently trying to add in IR camera to a robotic system I'm working on. I went to the manufacturer's website and see that they have ROS packages available on git, but they only have branches for Groovy, Fuerte, and Kinetic. I'm on ROS Indigo...I thought to just try and git clone the Groovy branch in my src folder in my catkin workspace. It built fine, but after a rospack profile and an attempt to roslaunch a launch file...it fails. To start off the debugging, I wanted to ask if what I'm doing is Ok....is there a way to "port" it to Indigo with little effort?

Thanks in advance!

[..] attempt to roslaunch a launch file...it fails

It would probably help if you can give us some more insight into what actually happened. "it fails" doesn't tell us very much.

Please always include a reasonable level of detail in all questions. We can't help you otherwise.
