How to use the Sonars from a Pioneer 3at for navigation (p2os)

Hello, I'm new to ROS so please be kind to me :)

I'm using a Pioneer-3at with the p2os package, the 2Dnavigation with the Hokuyo-laser-scanner works also fine. Now i want to include the Sonar Sensor of the Robot to detect obstacles, which can't be detected by the laser scanner. Can anyone help me to use the p2os_driver/SonarArray message for the navigation or how i can convert it to a sensor_msgs/Range.msg message ?

@mobilemax sorry, just now seeing this. I've tried in the past to get the sonar messages working, but have not yet been able to get them to. If you figure out a fix, please let me know and we can get it merged!
