Support for markers with non-zero depth in ar_track_alvar

I'd like to use the ar_track_alvar package to measure the pose of a wall relative to the camera. As paper marker easily get damaged, are hard to print exactly to scale, I created some marker that are printed on aludibond ( https://www.myposter.de/alu-dibond ). These markers however have a thickness of several mm, so I'd have a systematic error if I use them. Is there already a way to compensate for this thickness or do I have to implement it myself?
