Getting distance values from robotino

Hello,

i am currently trying to get distance sensor values from my robotino. The robotino_node publishes a PointCloud to the topic "distance_sensors" but this points are only the positions of the sensors on the robot itself. I want to know how far away my robot is from the walls around. Does anyone know how i can get these values?
