Hi all, hi decision_making developers,

Is there still ongoing development on the decision_making package? Especially I'd like to use the behavior trees for our main mission objectives, but the examples are currently not compiled and also not compilable. Is there any chance this will be fixed?

We want to use indigo/ubuntu14.04 as final target platform. At the moment I am trying to compile the decision_making package and the parser for a custom hydro build under 14.04. There are only some deprecated boost function/object calls, due to the newer boost libraries. Do you think it will be easier to replace the boost libs or to fix the dependencies?

Are you planning a version to support Ros Indigo?

Thanks, Mario

Hi Mario,

I know it is a very old question, but I'm actually looking for a reason why this package is not in the standard release of indigo, since it was in hydro, to see if there was some reason.

Here there was a PR (already merged) that allows it to be used in Ubuntu 14.04/Indigo, and in fact, I have been using it from source. But it'd be nice to have it within the official release.

So the answer is that it is supported on indigo, but somehow it is not available in the official release.

Best, Carlos
