Kinect for Windows Data to be processed on ROS [closed]
Hello All, I have a Kinect for Windows that i would love to use on ROS. But i see some posts saying i cannot for now at least. So for my project i need to use ROS & Kinect for running some SLAM & 3D Mapping Algorithms. I was wondering if i could record the Kinect data on Windows(in.xed format) and then transfer those files to Ubuntu 12.04 on VMware and process it in ROS.
Anybody done this before or know if this would work??
