Sick S3000 configuration [closed]
Hi everyone! I'm trying to use the packages cob_sick_s300 and sicks300 to acquire data from a new sick S3000. Apparently the communication protocol of S300 is the same of S3000 but I still haven't been able to make it work. I think my problem is that I need to set-up some specific setting in the laser. If this is true, does what are these settings? Does anyone have any experience in this matter?
A little bit late to reply , but Have you tried this package ?? http://code.google.com/p/sick-s3000-ros-pkg/ I have got the data from the s3000 using this package.
I'm a little bit late too... I'm adding a few more functionalists in the driver, such as reading the position of the beacons/reflectors. I hope to publish this work as soon as possible.
