i2t limitation

I have maxon7010 motor. I just want to test the motor with changing ampere according to the torque that I applied. When I applied torque to the wheel, I observed the current on escon 2 times bigger than amperemeter. I guess i2t limitation caused that. How can I disable i2t limitation on escon or what should i do the fix this problem?
