Error when sourcing ROS Noetic [closed]

Hi, when I source noetic by typing into the terminal

source /opt/ros/noetic/setup.bash

I get the following errors and ROS does not seem to work at all for me

bash: export: `-f': not a valid identifier

bash: export: `/tmp/setup.sh.VR5dyne69g': not a valid identifier

I could use some help figuring this out as i have no idea how to go about resolving this.
