Driving Rplidar a2 on jetson TX2 - CP210X driver not found

when i write usb-devices, i get this below for Rplidar:

I noticed that it is not detecting the cp210x although i am running on ubuntu 18 which should have the driver installed.

any recommendation as to how i can fix this? spent days!!!!
