Catkin_make error Invoking "make -j8 -l8" failed

I'm trying to build my project Workspace which I got from my mate using Catkin_make, I keep getting this error. Can someone help me solving this, if you have already come across this.

I have checked if there are any dependencies missing, currently no dependencies are missing.

The first line showing an error tells this :

/opt/ros/melodic/lib/libtf.so: undefined reference to `tf2_ros::TransformListener::TransformListener(tf2::BufferCore&, ros::NodeHandle const&, bool)'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Undefined reference errors mean you have a problem with the linking of your libraries. Can you show your CMakeLists.txt and package.xml ? I'm guessing you miss tf2_ros in catkin_package().

I'm building 4 packages in my ws and this is the one that shows the error above. So I'm attaching the cmakelists.txt and package.xml of this package.

You need to add tf2_ros in the function catkin_package and find_package in CMakeLists.txt and also add <depend>tf2_ros</depend> in package.xml.
