/opt/ros/melodic/ disappered from home directory

Hello I am using ROS, and yesterday it was working. Today, I searched for the /opt/ros/melodic/ folder to edit some files, but the ros folder disappeared from opt folder. I enabled showing hidden files, but it is still missing.

How could I fix this?
