Hi! I'm trying to install Ros indigo in ubuntu 14.04, but I've had these error when I set the next command:

sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-desktop-full

The error is:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ros-indigo-desktop-full : Depends: ros-indigo-desktop but it is not going to be installed
Depends: ros-indigo-perception but it is not going to be installed
Depends: ros-indigo-simulators but it is not going to be installed
Depends: ros-indigo-urdf-tutorial but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Someone know how to fix it?

Solved!

I needed to add some repositories on Ubuntu before the installation. You should go to Software and Update/Ubuntu software and mark all the options and select the correct server country for the installation. In my case: - Check -> Canonical-supported free and open-source software (main) - Check -> Community-maintained free and open-source software (universe) - Check -> Proprietary drivers for devices (restricted) - Check -> Software restricted by copyright or legal issues (multiverse) Download from: http://es-mirrors.evowise.com/ubuntu The last link depends of the region that you live
