How to connect Flutter app to Ros melodic (on my laptop with ubuntu 18.04) using dart library : roslib ?

Hello, I have to control robot simulator with a Flutter app and get some data from their topics, I first tried to do this example : https://pub.dev/packages/roslib#-exam... However, it doesn't seem to work even if I'm running those three processes :

  • roscore

  • roslaunch rosbrosbridge_server rosbridge_websocket.launch

  • rosrun rospy_tutorials add_two_ints_server

Instead of using Roslib, you can instead make your app use Rest requests such as GET, POST, PUT, etc to communicate with the program being run with rosrun. Try making the rospy_tutorials file into a server that receives those requests. Using the requests the server receives, call functions that achieve the operations that you want performed.
