Hey,

so i tried installing Ros2 eloquent on my Macbook by following the tutorial:

https://index.ros.org/doc/ros2/Instal...

but when it comes to the Part Environment setup, I source the ROS 2 setup file:

. ~/ros2_eloquent/ros2-osx/setup.bash

I always get the following Error msg:

[connext_cmake_module] Warning: The location at which Connext was found when the workspace was built [[/Applications/rti_connext_dds-5.3.1]] does not point to a valid directory, and the NDDSHOME environment variable has not been set. Support for Connext will not be available.

[opensplice_cmake_module] Warning: The location at which OpenSplice was found when the workspace was built [[/Users/osrf/opensplice/HDE/x86_64.darwin10_clang]] does not point to a valid directory, and the OSPL_HOME environment variable has not been set. Support for OpenSplice will not be available.

I know using MacOs seems kind of stupid, and I already have Ubuntu installed, but i would realy Love to keep my OS as it feels way better to me. If Anyone has an Idea how to Fix that, i would be realy grateful.

best regards

I think the answer at https://answers.ros.org/question/3420... applies. You can ignore those warnings if you're not using OpenSplice or Connext. If you do want to try them, here are instructions for OSX https://index.ros.org/doc/ros2/Instal...
