Marker size needs to be 14 cm?

I have found in the aruco_detect.launch the following line:

<arg name="fiducial_len" default="0.14"/>

if I increase this number here can I print larger markers? Do I need to change the size any where else? I need this to be able to detect markers from far away.

Please share more about your usage so your question is answerable. You do not state what you're using in your system so it's hard to know where you might need to change something else. Please try to provide enough information to reproduce your problem/question. https://wiki.ros.org/Support
