I am trying to install kinetic on on arch by following this tutorial: http://wiki.ros.org/kinetic/Installat.. . After step 2.1.2 I got the following error:

ERROR: Rosdep experienced an error: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 213: ordinal not in range(128)

Note: wstool init failed the first time for me. I restarted it using wstool update -j 4 -t src
