Hi, ı use jetson tx1 development kit but when ı setup jetpack 2.0 14.04 on this platform, it showed very bad performance. What might be the reason for this slowness? On the ROS platform, I thought that point clouds would count faster than the odroid xu4. But it performed worse than the odroid. Why? could you please help me this situation.

I would suggest to install the latest Jetpack, 3.2 at the time I write this, which comes with Ubuntu 16.04. And use htop to see what processes slows things down. Otherwise please give more details on your setup and problem, what 3D sensor do you use, which ROS packages, etc...

Hi, Mr. @Cyril_J I will follow your recommendation about Jetpack version 3.2. I use hokuyo urg 04lx ug01 model 2d laser scanner and to convert from 2d to 3d , ı use tf2 ,laser assembler,rviz....

In addition, too many point cloud data is obtained at the moment. Is there a way to keep this data at a certain number? @Cyril_J

Hi @Mekateng, I've not used this sensor, so hopefully someone who use that on the TX1 can help you.

How does Ubuntu seem to run, is it also slow? Jetpack does take 15-30 minutes to install, this is normal.
