Running hokuyo_node and/or urg_node.

After following the installation guides for Ubuntu and Debian on 2 different machines, it appears that I can't install either hokuyo_node or urg_node. I've tried using catkin to compile the source but can't get them to run with 'rosrun urg_node getID /dev/ttyACM0' or 'rosrun hokuyo_node getID /dev/ttyACM0'. Do I have to copy the builds somewhere or do the packages have to be brought into lunar?
