How to get rate at which images/point clouds are saved

Hi all, I am trying to save images and point clouds captured by baxter's cameras, two additional camera's mounted on baxter and one another kinect sensor. I want to know at what time frame are they being saved. What is the best way to go about it?

I was thinking of finding the difference of timestamps in subsequent callbacks. Do you guys lead/ideas on how to go about this?

Is it being published through a topic? Could you run a rostopic hz command?
