urdf: dynamic link for prismatic joint

Hello,

i am currently starting with urdf in ROS. I want to add a prismatic joint. My question is: How can i create a dynamic link which is adepting the state of the prismatic joint. Or is it even possible?

I don't want to chop the link into 2 or more parts by adding more joints.
