ros_tutorials has not been properly installed

I installed ros indigo ros_comm on my Raspberry Pi 3, and it seems that the ros_tutorials folder was not installed. I separately installed from github but I'm not sure which folder it should have been installed in. As a result I'm unable to complete most of the tutorials given on the website.
