How do I install the xqms/xtion driver for ASUS Xtion on Ubuntu?

Very basic question, I'm afraid; how do I install the xqms/xtion driver for ASUS Xtion on Ubuntu?

I've got the .c and .h files from the download, run the $make, run the $make install, and it has created the .o files - now what should I do?
