is it possible to use rosjava with kitkat or connect ros to android?

Hello,

I've installed rosjava and android_core (which doesn't compile because I don't have android 10 sdk) I would like to use it with android 19 (kitkat) to communicate between ros indigo on ubuntu 14.04 and android, if this is not possible, is there any other way to send ros information to android? something like an image.
