Dear All I am trying to read 6 channel Analog Input signal via ROS. My plan is to find one ROS supported PCI/PCI express DAQ card and plug it into my desktop PC. Has anyone know this type DAQ? Certainly if you have better idea to read 6 channel AI, please also let me know. Thanks a lot. Jayson

The Sensoray 626 http://www.sensoray.com/products/626.htm seems to meet your requirements.

I've successfully used it with Ubuntu/ROS in the past, some code for installing the drivers and library can be found at http://www.ros.org/wiki/sensoray626

Hi Will, This is really helpful. I checked out your Sensoray 626 rospkg. It looks good. Everything is there. I probably will give it a try shortly. One more quick question about this pkg, I saw you are calling Sensoray626 API to communicate with ROS. Is that possible to talk to Sensoray626 through ROS topic or service. Have you tired that before? thanks. Jayson

Sorry for the delay, ROS Answers hasn't been sending me emails for some reason... I haven't used rostopics or services to communicate with it. It's not too hard to wrap publishers/subscribers/services around the API though.
