Running ROS on multiple machines

I have a roscore in a PC with ROS Indigo and from another PC running ROS Noetic in WSL2. The connection between PC is peer to peer, and both /etc/hosts has it's name associated.

I can see from WSL2 rostopic echo but I can't publish to any topic.

Any help please

Check the firewall in both OS, please. You can turn off the firewall temporarily for checking.

Also, it is not a good idea to run different ros releases on different hosts. Some features may work, but others will not.
