RViz status error

The turtlebot is equipped with Kinect, no Asus Xtion mounted.
All commands can be executed, and I use the keyboard to manipulate the robot to go around my room, but the LaserScan status is Error. Any clue how to fix it?
Can you provide a little more info? Things like what does work, what is the exact error output, console output, etc? Without some more info it's hard to say what's going on.
I am a newbie, can you guide me how to trace those info? THANKS
