ethzasl_ptam installation
hi i am a new in ros domaine , trying to install ethzasl_ptam with fuerte any help pls os : ubuntu 10.04 lonovo i7core 64bit.

i think the pbroblem is with fuerte version or some thing like that rosdep never works for me
ERROR: Rosdep cannot find all required resources to answer your query Missing resource ptam ROS path [0]=/opt/ros/fuerte/share/ros ROS path [1]=/opt/ros/fuerte/share ROS path [2]=/opt/ros/fuerte/stacks
I m even new to ROS and I`d start implementing ethzasl_ptam.
I`ve proceeded as the tutorial explains, but please be aware of the dependencies mentioned. On GitHub, you may find at this location ethz-asl/ethzasl_ptam/ptam a readme.txt file that accurately explain what the program needs to work; this file has been made by Klein and Murray, the authors of the original PTAM.
I had some problem with my FireWire camera that need the ROS camera1934 that make my camera works as a topic to communicate with PTAM. Anyway there s an open issue in ethasl_ptam that involves ATI graphic cards, OpenGL and Linux. I don t know how to exactly explain that problem but it won`t allow you to see image from your camera in PTAM, whether your node is correctly runned.
