hello, This is my problem, when i am launching RGBDSLAM with the command:   "roslaunch rgbdslam kinect + rgbdslam.launch" I have the following message appears:

[ERROR] [1361892733.060455231] / Tried to advertise a service advertised That Is Already in this node [/ camera / dept_registered / image_rect_raw / compressedDepth / set_parameters] [ERROR] [1361892733.163451691] / Tried to advertise a service advertised That Is Already in this node [/ camera / dept_registered / image_rect_raw / compressed / set_parameters] [ERROR] [1361892733.355056223] / Tried to advertise a service advertised That Is Already in this node [/ camera / dept_registered / image_rect_raw / theora / set_parameters]

I watch several answers to this, and yet I can not find anything that fixes my problem.

Could you help me?

NOTE: I'm running ubuntu 12.04 with ROS groovy

In addition, I noticed that the program starts, I have an image that appears then it freezes very quickly (1-2 seconds)

I'm counting on you.

thank you

cordially

I have an ATI Radeo HD 4530 mobility, however I have a problem with the driver. In fact, when I update it, my graphics card driver is MESA M92. it is a mistake scouring but I do not know how to solve it.

I am sorry, but graphics driver are neither in my field of interest, nor in the scope of this community. You can run rgbdslam without gui, see the description of headless mode on http://ros.rog/wiki/rgbdslam. Otherwise, maybe you can find help at the http://ubuntuforums.org.

These error messages come from the openni driver. They do not affect RGBDSLAM. So your problem is that you

have an image that appears then it freezes very quickly (1-2 seconds)

Could you be more precise?

Hello I'm having the same problem too. I'm also using ros groovy and ubuntu 12.04 . If these error messages come from the openni driver what should I do? I'm sorry to ask my question here . But as it's the same question I added this comment here.. Thank you in advance

As I said, the error messages do not affect rgbdslam, i.e. rgbdslam works despite of these errors. So there is no need to do anything. If it doesn't work for you, please state what exactly does not work.
