FastDDS yocto integration without ROS2

Hi all,

In need of a publish/subscribe platform for an embedded platform(ROS2 is too big and has unnecessary packages for the use case). A quick search suggests DDS or FastDDS to be exact. However i was unable to find yocto layers/recipes (the embedded platform runs linux) for FastDDS, and people at eprosima suggested isolating fastdds recipes from ROS2 yocto layers. Has anyone done this before? Would be really glad if someone can give me a heads up.
