Xbox adaptive controller
when we plugged in our Xbox Adaptive Controller to get joy messages, it wouldn't connect on a /dev/input. Has anyone gotten it to work?
I'm running Ubuntu 21 (with Kinetic).

I have faced this issue too. I followed the same steps mentioned in this article- https://geniusgeeks.com/xbox-one-erro...

I never tried running Kinetic in Ubuntu 21.04 so not sure what issues that may create. But for your joystick issue, search for troubleshooting Xbox joystick. This issue is not really a ROS issue. Once you are able to read your joystick input, then ROS will work as well. Check this link with regards to joystick troubleshooting: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Gamepad
