Publishing data from rqt_bag [closed]

Using ROS2 Galactic I can not get the rqt_bag player to publish topics from a recorded bag file. I've right clicked on on each topic in the player timeline and checked "Publish" but nothing works. What am I missing?

I created a issue here with a sample bag file that I've been testing with, I'm not sure if that was the correct place to log the issue.

Sorry, still trying to learn what forums are active, after creating the issue in the repo I noticed that did not have a lot of activity and it wasn't even clear to me that I had the correct repo. This forum seemed to be much more active. Anyway I'm still looking for some help.
