ello, Hi,

I am looking for a starting point for learning how to start with mapping and localization of my autonomous robot. The purpose is to develop a complete pipeline for the robot whose purpose is to go to several checkpoints I created in my garden and perform some task at each of these checkpoints.

Can someone guide me the entire methodology to accomplish so? I understand that I need localization and mapping but can’t get a complete flowchart to follow and the steps I may need to accomplish ?

P.S. I am not using ROS as I am not sure if I really need it...
