2 irb120 robots sharing a linear axis (in sync)
We are trying to have 2 irb120 robots sharing a linear axis (its vertical but that is just a detail). Abb support has let us know that it cannot be done through robotstudio. There is a rotating positioner involved additionally. Anybody has enough experience with ros industrial to judge if its worth trying? Also is there a ros industrial melodic pack already? Thanks for your help.
Can you describe your setup a bit more? Is there only a single controller? Does 'share' only mean 'two carriages on a single track' or something else?
Also: what are your application requirements?
