Control of a 2-Finger Gripper on 2f-140 rviz/gazebo simulation

I want to control the 2f-140 robotiq gripper connected to ur5 from the command line with a ros node. I guess robotiq_2f_gripper_control is what I should use. However I don't know how to use this package with only the Rviz/Gazebo simulation without connecting to the actual robot.

Any ideas or is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance (I am very new to ROS)
